It's really important for us as a business and as individuals to feel like we are part of something bigger, a community. It has been not only great fun to work with Jamal Randera but it's been a privilege to watch him develop not only his ideas but himself as a young entrepreneur. We can't wait to watch his next steps!
'With the growing interest in health, wellness and reducing food waste, cacaofruit water is being heralded as a contender for the next big drink, potentially rivalling the ever-popular coconut water. As more people become aware of its benefits and unique flavour profile, it’s exciting to think about how this drink might carve its niche in the market. We are proud to see Leicester’s very own Babao Cacao stepping into the limelight as this exciting newcomer gains traction. As the popularity of cacaofruit water spreads, it will be intriguing to see how this local creation inspires other innovators in the beverage industry.'
Amazing to have the BTEC Level 3 Students over to help us with a pop-up tasting of BABAO CACAO. A big thank you as always to Beena Ghattoraya and her fabulous Students, Grace Watts, Sophia Coll, Lissa Olden
Cocoa Amore & BABAO CACAO were invited by Loughborough College to collaborate on a theme night celebrating Cacao from Fruit to Refinement. We had a great time meeting their guests, students, and lecturers, of course, everyone got to try a glass of BABAO! Pete had such a good time he will be back soon to teach a Chocolate Master Class in time for Easter
Extract From Beena Ghattoraya Experience Day Alert for Peter Jones Academy at Leicester College! So we kicked started our taster day with a lesson on the Marketing Mix which is the heart of every business's survival, then we're joined by our very own mentor Peter Gardner from Cocoa Amore to discuss the journey of his latest innovation which will be launched this week and the new potential students had an opportunity to try the new drink and learn about sustainability! We then mish-mashed some 'Apprentice' style challenge to make a new recipe to add to the range of Cacao Quench (the items pictured are not the final packaging! We will save that for launch day!) and then full-on 'Dragons Den' to pitch the idea to Pete! There was fun, learning, Laughter and employer engagement at the heart of the session and they haven't even started yet! Thank you so much Pete and the team at Cocoa Amore for being a consistent part of our academy and helping to develop young Entrepreneurs 😀

The Youth Justice Project which comprises of the Phoenix Project and VIP Project works with young people involved in the justice system. Man Cave Enterprise Sessions are designed to provide participants with introductory knowledge about how to set up their businesses.
Peter also provided us with insight into his current project “Babao Cacao”. This is a refreshing drink which is made from the cacao fruit which is usually discarded as waste. Participants tried the drink and provided feedback on their thoughts about the drink. Some participants preferred the sparkling version whilst others preferred the still version.
